Hawkins, a senior from Silver Spring, Md. led the Eagles to a 3-0 conference record with a perfect week in singles and doubles play. At No. 1 singles, Hawkins won 6-4, 6-2 vs. Shenandoah and 6-1, 6-3 vs. Va. Wesleyan. In a battle for second place in the ODAC, he rallied to defeat E&H's James Keighley 4-6, 6-0, 6-1. At doubles, he was 3-0 with partner Sam Churchill. The duo won 8-1 at No. 2 doubles vs. Shenandoah. At No. 3 vs. VMC, the duo took an 8-1 win. They also won at No. 3 against E&H, 8-4. Hawkins is 8-1 at No. 1 vs. ODAC competition. He and Churchill are undefeated in doubles play at No. 3.

Ben Nelson, Guilford College - (Sr, -

Nelson won all five matches in the Quakers' 3-0 week versus ODAC
foes on the road. He helped pull out a 5-4 win at Roanoke
with a 6-1, 6-3 win at sixth singles. He also teamed with
Turner Votipka for an 8-2 second-doubles triumph. He moved up
to fifth singles to take a straight-set win over Lynchburg's Tyler
Long and also gained an 8-0 win at second doubles with
Votipka. Nelson capped the weekend with another
second-doubles triumph, this one at Randolph.
Matt Karvelas, Lynchburg College - (Jr.,
- Arlington, VA)
Karvelas won at #1 singles against Greensboro, 6-0, before his
opponent retired, and against Guilford, 7-6(9), 6-3. He then won #3
doubles with Tyler Long against Guilford and Virginia Wesleyan.
Karvelas provided four of the team's seven points for the week.
Connor Hoerr, Randolph-Macon College -

Connor Hoerr finished the week 2-1 as the No. 1 singles player and
1-2 in No. 1 doubles competition. He scored a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4)
victory against McDaniel to start the week before knocking off
H-SC's top singles player in straight sets 6-1, 6-2. Hoerr's lone
singles loss came on the road to NCAA Division I member Norfolk
State, 6-2, 6-0. In doubles action, Connor dropped an 8-4 contest
at McDaniel and an 8-1 decision at Norfolk State. Hoerr picked up a
win at the No. 1 doubles position against H-SC, 8-0.
