Kyle Hartfield, Bridgewater, Jr., #1 Singles, #1 Doubles

Hartfield, a junior from Marietta, Ga., helped the Eagles pick up a pair of conference wins and move into sole possession of third place in the ODAC standings.  Hartfield won twice at top-flight singles as Bridgewater defeated Randolph (5-2) and Emory & Henry (9-0). He pulled out a 4-6, 7-6, 1-0 (10-4) triumph over Randolph's Bradley Strober, and then put together a 6-4, 6-3 victory over John Dalton Ferguson in BC's win over the Wasps.  Hartfield and doubles partner Joe Dillenbeck earned an 8-2 win over E&H to rebound from a close 9-7 setback against Randolph.  Hartfield is 9-7 this spring at #1 singles, including an 8-2 mark against ODAC foes.

Men's Tennis Honor Roll

Erik Meiler, Guilford (Sr. - 1/1)
Meiler registered a 6-0, 6-0 win at #1 singles and joined Aaron Smedley for an 8-1 triumph at #1 doubles in the Quakers 9-0 victory over Hampden-Sydney.

Baxter Carter, Randolph-Macon (So. - 4/1)
Carter helped R-MC to team wins over Virginia Union (8-1), Hampden-Sydney (6-3) and Roanoke (8-1). He and John Adam won 8-3, 8-2 and 8-2, respectively, in three matches at #1 doubles. Carter won 6-3, 6-2 at #4 singles against H-SC, and then posted a 6-3, 6-3 win at #4 against Roanoke.
