Zander Tallman, Washington and Lee, Sr., Springs/Mid-Distance

Tallman, a senior from Grand Blanc, Mich., competed in four events at the Hopkins Loyola Invitational and snapped a pair of Washington and Lee records along the way.  His first mark came in his first attempt at the 800-meter run this season as he set a new ODAC best time and broke a 35-year old Generals' record with a time of 1:52.68.  It also ranks ninth in the country.  Tallman competed in one individual event, posting a time of 10.84 seconds in the 100-meter dash.  That ranks third in the ODAC this season.  He went on to compete in both the 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relays, setting another W&L record in the former.  He and his teammates crossed the line in an ODAC-leading time of 41.61 seconds, which is eighth in the NCAA Division III.  The Generals' 4x400-meter team came in at 3:19.37, second in the ODAC only to their own previous-best time of 3:19.02.

Joe Mitchell, Guilford (Fr., Sprints - Winston-Salem, N.C.)
Mitchell ran Guilford's fastest 200-meter dash time at the Aggie Invitational with a mark of 22.66 seconds.  He also ran the 100-meter dash in 11.14 seconds, helped the 4x400-meter relay team to the second-fastest time in school history at 44.27 seconds.

Greg Wilson, Lynchburg (Sr., Throws - Bourne, Mass.)
Wilson shined in the throwing events at the Aggie Invitational, winning the hammer and shot put with throws of 52.15 meters (171' 1.0") and 15.54 meters (51' 0.0"), respectively.  His shot put toss upped the ante on his own season-best throw in the ODAC this year.  He also placed second in the discus at 43.55 meters (142' 10.0").

Randy Lott, Virginia Wesleyan (Sr., Sprints - Virginia Beach, Va.)
Lott continues to attack the VWC record books as he helped set two records in three events competed at the Aggie Invitational.  He posted a time of 10.80 seconds in the 100-meter dash, second only to his own ODAC season-best time of 10.60.  He moved into the conference's top spot in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.28, setting a school record and establishing the #4 time in NCAA Division III.  He and his teammates finished the 4x100-meter relay in a school-record time of 44.27 seconds, second in the league.
