Hannah Chappell-Dick, Eastern Mennonite, Jr., Mid-Distance

Chappell-Dick, a junior from Bluffton, Ohio, etched her name in the ODAC record book following two impressive showings at two separate meets this weekend.  At the Colonial Relays, Chappell-Dick set a new ODAC a standard in the 1,500-meter run, posting a time of 4:32.54 seconds to snap a record own by former Roanoke standout Carmen Graves (3:32.83).  Chappell-Dick's time not only is #1 in the ODAC, but it is currently the top time in NCAA Division III.  At the Liberty Collegiate Invitational, Chappell-Dick ws the top D-III finisher and third overall in the 800-meter run in 2:16.94.  That is the top time in the ODAC and 22nd in the country this season.

Women's Outdoor Track & Field Honor Roll

Becca Benfield, Guilford (So. - Lawndale, N.C.)
Benfield competed in three throwing events at the VertKlasse Meeting hosted at High Point University.  She was sixth in the javelin (28.10m), 15th in the discus (25.77m) and 16th in the shot put (9.74m).  All three were season and personal-bests for Benfield, setting school records in the shot put and javelin.

Diana Young, Randolph (Fr. - Midlothian, Va.)
Young was the top D-III competitor in the 100m dash with a 12.82 at the Liberty Invite.  She was second D-III in the 200m dash in 26.31.  Those times rank third and fifth, respectively, in the ODAC.

Erin McGovern, Roanoke (So. - Portsmouth, N.H.)
McGovern was the top D3 finisher in three events at the Liberty Invite.  She was sixth overall in the 100m hurdles (15.81), seventh in the high jump (1.55m) and ninth in the 400m hurdles (1:07.63).  Both hurdles times are second in the ODAC, while her high jump mark sits third.

Jaclyn Mohlmann, Shenandoah (Sr. - Annandale, Va.)
Mohlmann was third overall and first among D3 competition in the heptathlon at the Liberty Invite, posting 4,465 points.  She was first in the 800m run (2:27.90), second in the high jump (1.58m), third in the javelin (30.62m), fourth in the long jump (4.99m) and 100m hurdles (15.33), fifth in the 200m dash (27.38) and sixth in the shot put (9.68m).

Tiffany Lennon, Virginia Wesleyan (So. - Carrollton, Va.)
Lennon set a new VWC record and established the top time in the ODAC in 200m dash with a time of 25.89 at the Colonial Relays.  She also competed in the 4x100m (49.82), 4x200m (1:46.28) and 4x400m (4:02.18) relays.  The 4x400m time is the fastest in the ODAC and 26th-best in NCAA D3.

Jillian Katterhagen, Washington and Lee (Sr. - The Woodlands, Texas)
Katterhagen posted three top-seven finishes at the Liberty Invite.  She was the top D3 competitor in the pole vault at 3.50m, tops in the ODAC.  She was seventh overall and second in D3 in the 100m hurdles (15.96), third-best in the conference.  She then helped W&L to sixth overall and second D3 in the 4x100m relay (50.88).
