Truman, a junior from Richmond, Va., started off the outdoor season with a nice showing in the long jump at the Seahawk Invitational hosted by UNC-Wilmington. He placed fourth in the event by reaching 6.95 meters. He also ran in a pair of events, posting 0:11.29 in the 100-meter dash and 0:22.92 in the 200-meter dash. He placed 11th and ninth in those events, respectively.

Alex Martin Guilford (Jr. - Jumps)
Martin just missed a personal-record in the long jump with a leap of 6.70 meters, which sits fourth in Guilford history. He also ran a leg of Guilford's 4x100-meter relay that finished in 0:43.57.
