Miller, a sophomore from Waynesboro, Va., put together a strong showing in a pair of sprints at the VertKlasse Meeting, which features a field largely comprised of NCAA Division I and II athletes. Miller broke a 17-year old Eastern Mennonite record in the 100-meter dash as she finished 10th overall and first among Division III competitors with a new ODAC-best time of 12.20 seconds. She narrowly sliced the record of 12.21 seconds set by Lorenda Abbott in 2000. She is now ranked eighth in Division III in the event. Miller also finished 33rd overall and second D-III in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.93 seconds, which is short of her second-best 25.75 time that currently ranks second in the conference.

Maryellen Hauver, Bridgewater (Jr. - Mid-Distance)
Hauver won the 1500-meter run a the Jopson Invitational with a time of 5:08.40. She helped BC claim the title in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:15.47.
Marissa Coombs, Virginia Wesleyan (Jr. - Mid-Distance)
Coombs took over #1 in the ODAC in the 1500-meter run after placing 15th overall in the event at the Colonial Relays with a time of 4:36.92. She also helped VWC to 13th in the 1600-meter sprint medley relay in 4:13.21 and 27th in the distance medley relay in 12:51.01.
Kirsten McMichael, Washington and Lee (So. - Distance)
McMichael smashed her own personal-best time in the 10,000-meter run at the Colonial Relays, finishing 15th overall and third amongst Division III runners. She completed the event in 37:13.22, which is tops in the ODAC by more than a minute and eighth in the country.
