Grant Amoateng, Eastern Mennonite, Jr., Jumps/Sprints

Amoateng, a junior from Bristow, Va., competed in four events at the Montreat College Invitational and placed his name back atop the ODAC long and triple jump season charts. Amoateng won the triple jump at 14.08 meters (46-2.50), which ranks ninth in NCAA Division III. He added a third place showing in the long jump at 6.79 meters (22-3.50), which stands 18th in the country. Amoateng also took a two turns on the track, placing 20th in the 100-meter dash in 11.50 seconds and helping EMU to sixth in the 4x100-meter relay at 43.30 seconds.

Men's Outdoor Track & Field - Field Athlete Weekly Honor Roll

Wanya Alford, GC: set the school record in the triple jump at the Terrier relays with a leap of 13.57m (44-6.25). That mark is fourth-best in the ODAC.

Casey Kalinowski, LC: improved on his ODAC second-best pole vault mark by placing second at the Blue & Silver Challenge at 4.11m (13-5.75). 

Chris Smith, SU: jumped twice at the Blue & Silver Challenge, winning the long jump at 6.65m (21-10.00) and placing third in the triple jump at 13.62m (44-8.25). The long jump mark is second in the ODAC and triple jump is third. They're ranked 31st and 29th in the country, respectively.
