Gamble, a first-year from Houston, Texas, put together a stellar day in both field and track events at the Harry G. "Doc" Jopson Invitational hosted by Bridgewater College over the weekend. Gamble won the long jump with an ODAC-best leap of 5.43 meters (17-9.75). That is third-best mark in Washington and Lee program history and ranks seventh in NCAA Division III. Gamble also took two turns on the track, including a third place finish in the 200-meter dash in 25.58 seconds. That time is tied for second in W&L history in 11th in the country. Gamble joined teammates Jamie Spanfeller, Jordynn Palethorpe, and Susannah Birle in winning the 4x100-meter relay in 49.90 seconds. That time is fourth in Generals' program history as well as fourth in the ODAC and 16th in Division III this season.
