Llaneza, a senior from Bristow, Va., went top the ODAC in a pair events with nationally top-10 ranked times following competition at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic hosted by the University of Lynchburg. Llaneza won the 800-meter run at 1:49.62, making him just the second runner in Lynchburg history to crack 1:50.00 in the event. That runner, Tor Hotung-Davidsen, finished second to him in this race and is the ODAC record holder at 1:49.04. Llaneza's time on Friday ranks third in Division III this season. The Hornets standout also competed in the mile run, which for ODAC and NCAA rankings, is converted for placement in the 1,500-meter run. Llaneza won the event at 4:05.41. His converted time of 3:47.23 is #1 in the ODAC and sits seventh in the country.
