Kayla St. John, Lynchburg, So., Third Base

St. John, a sophomore from Suffolk, Va., brought her power bat to the table as she helped Lynchburg to a sweep of Randolph-Macon.  St. John went 4-for-8 overall in the two games with three going for extra bases.  In game one, she tied the score 5-5 in the seventh with a three-run homer, which eventually lead to LC's 6-5 win.  She drove in four runs for the game and scored once.  In game two, she had a double and another homerun, driving in a pair with another run scored.  St. John is hitting .352 with five homers and 26 RBI, the latter two numbers ranking in the top-10 in the ODAC.

Softball Player Honor Roll

Lauren Seale, Eastern Mennonite (Fr., IF - Madison, Va.)
Seale homered in both games of a doubleheader sweep of Sweet Briar.  She was 3-for-7 overall, adding a double to her efforts.  She drove in five runs and scored twice.

Rachel Howard, Guilford (Sr. IF - Efland, N.C.)
Howard was 4-for-6 in the Quakers sweep at Bridgewater.  She had two hits in both games, including a pair of doubles in game two.  She drove in four runs and scored twice, adding a walk for a .750 OBP.

Harley Jones, Randolph-Macon (Fr, OF - Broadnax, Va.)
Jones went 5-for-13 in the Yellow Jackets 2-2 week.  She hit a solo homer in a game one loss to Lynchburg, and then had a double each in both games of a sweep of Gettysburg.  She registered four RBI and three runs scored overall, while adding three stolen bases.

Courtney Bogan, Virginia Wesleyan (Jr., OF - Round Hill, Va.)
Bogan reached base six times in a doubleheader sweep of Roanoke, going 5-for-6 with a walk for an .857 OBP.  She had three hits and two RBI in game two.  Her speed proved an issue for RC as she stole five bases, including three in the second game.  She leads the ODAC with 42 larcenies.  She entered the weekend #2 in NCAA Division III.
