Carver, a junior from Granite Falls, N.C., was stellar at the dish in the Quakers 5-1 showing thru a trio of doubleheaders last week. Carver went 17-for-22 with three doubles, two homers, and a walk leading to a .773/.783/1.182 slash line. She had at least two hits in each of her six games played with one four-hit effort and a trio of three-hit outings. Carver was 5-for-6 with a double, homer, three RBI, three runs scored, a walk, and a stolen base in a sweep (4-0, 3-1) over Methodist. She was 6-for-8 with two doubles, two RBI, four runs, and two stolen bases in a sweep of Mary Baldwin (12-0, 22-0). She capped her week going 6-for-8 with a homer, two RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base in a split (7-3, 3-5) with Greensboro. For the season, Carver his hitting an ODAC-best .690 (20-of-29) with four doubles, two homers, eight RBI, nine runs scored, and six stolen bases. Her .710 OBP also leads the league.

Softball Player of the Week Honor Roll

Stephanie Carroll, BC: went 3-for-5 with a triple, two RBI, two runs scored, and a walk with a doubleheader split (2-3, 5-3) against PSU-Altoona.

Danielle Brenneman, EMU: went 10-for-15 with three doubles, a triple, homer, four RBI, seven runs scored, and three stolen bases in a 1-3 week for EMU. Went 4-for-4 with a double, triple, and three runs scored in a setback to Pfeiffer (7-5). Had two hits in each of the other three games. finished with a .667/.667./1.200 slash line.

Caley Hodge, E&H: went 4-for-10 with a double, five RBI, three walks, and two runs scored. Drove in two runs in a 5-4 win over Ferrum and two more in a 7-0 shutout at Meredith in game two of a doubleheader sweep.

Jordyne Vance, LC: went 8-for-13 with two homers, seven RBI, five runs scored, and two walks in a 4-0 showing. Had three hits with a homer and two RBI in a 7-5 win over TCNJ. Had three more hits in a 6-5 win over Averett.

Sami Davidson, R-MC: went 7-for-18 with two homers, three RBI, three runs, and a walk in a 5-1 week. Had two hits in a 2-1 win over CNU and two more hits in a 3-0 shutout of Rowan. Smacked a pair of homers with two RBI and two runs scored in a 3-2 victory at Salem.
