Madison Glaubke, Virginia Wesleyan, So., Outfielder

Glaubke, a sophomore from Virginia Beach, Va., reached base safely 17 times in 24 plate appearances as the nationally top-ranked Marlins improved to 34-0 with six more victories. Virginia Wesleyan has now won 40 consecutive games dating back to last season. Glaubke hit .650 (13-for-20) with two doubles, a homer, 11 runs scored, three runs driven in, four walks, and four stolen bases in as many attempts. She had at least one hit in each game and five multi-hit efforts. Glaubke opened her week going 4-for-8 with a run scored, a RBI, and stolen base in sweep (11-1, 5-4) at #4 Christopher Newport. She was 6-for-7 with a double, homer, five runs scored, and a run driven in during a sweep (3-0, 12-0) at Randolph. Glaubke capped her week with a 3-for-5 showing with three walks, a double, RBI, five runs scored, and three stolen bases in a sweep (7-0, 12-0) at Shenandoah. For the season, Glaubke is third in the ODAC in hitting (.434) and on-base percentage (.537). She is second in runs (40), hits (43) and walks, and fourth in triples (2) and total bases (68).

Sydney Reath, EMU: went 7-for-15 with two doubles, seven RBI, and five runs scored in the Royals 2-2 week. Went 5-for-9 with seven RBI in a sweep (8-7, 12-4) of SU. 

Leah Elswick, E&H: helped E&H to a 4-0 week by hitting 8-for-13 (.615) with three doubles, three RBI, and four runs scored. Went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI in a 13-10 win in game one of a sweep (5-1) of Guilford. Went 4-for-6 in a sweep (4-3, 8-5) of EMU.

Makayla Carver, GC: continues to lead the ODAC in hitting after going 8-for-13 with five runs scored, two doubles, and two RBI in a 2-2 week. Was 5-for-8 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored at GC. Went 3-for-5 with two walks in a sweep of SU (7-1, 10-0).

Brittany Coffey, LC: went 4-for-7 with a RBI in a split (7-12, 2-0) with Roanoke. Had three hits with a RBI in a 2-0 win in game two.

Savannah Wood, R-MC: went 3-for-6 with two RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base in a sweep (4-0, 2-1) of BC. Had both RBI in a 2-1 win in game two, including the bunt on a suicide squeeze to plate the winning run in the eighth inning.

Taylor Carter, RC: went 6-for-13 with two doubles, three walks, four stolen bases, three runs scored, and a RBI in a 3-1 week. Had three hits including two doubles in a 3-0 win game one at Randolph. Stole two bases in game two, also a 3-0 win.
