Emma Swabb, Washington and Lee, Freshman

Swabb, a freshman from Erie, Pa., helped the Generals claim the 2012 Yellow Jacket Invitational title as she was apart of six Washington and Lee event victories, including a trio of individual first place finishes.  She also helped reset three W&L school records.  Swabb won the 400-yard individual medley in a school-record time of 4:42.06.  Her remaining individual wins came in the 200-yard IM (2:13.16) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.63).  Swabb swam legs of three winning relay teams, two of which set new school marks.  The Generals won the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:55.40), and then stamped new entries in the W&L books with times of 1:40.53 and 4:03.53 in the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard medley relay, respectively.  The times established new ODAC season-best marks.

Swimming Honor Roll

Carrie Crowther, Bridgewater (Va.) - (Jr., Free/Back - Burgess, Va.)
Crowther swam in seven events to help the Eagles to a fourth place finish at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.  She set a school record by placing fifth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:02.25).  She went on to finish fifth in the 50-yard free (25.70) and sixth in the 100-yard free (56.25).  Crowther also helped BC to a school-record showing by posting a runner-up performance in the 200-yard free relay (1:44.14).  She helped the Eagles to three other fifth place finishes in the 400-yard free (3:48.80), 800-yard free (8:40.78) and 400-yard medley (4:22.42) relays.

Lauren Frizzell, Emory & Henry - (Fr., Blacksburg, Va.)
Frizzell helped Emory & Henry helped Emory & Henry to a third place showing at the Sewanee Invitational as she swam in seven events that all set school records.  She participated three individual events, winning each.  Her individual victories came in the 200-yard (1:59.36), 500-yard (5:15.74) and 1,650-yard (18:18.80) freestyle races.  Frizzell swam in four relay events over the course of the meet, helping the Wasps to second place showings in the 200-yard medley (1:54.70), 400-yard medley (4:10.82) and 400-yard freestyle (3:47.37) relays.  E&H placed third in the 800-yard free relay (8:10.00).

Rebecca Stevenson, Randolph-Macon - (Sr., Richmond, Va.)
Stevenson finished the Yellow Jacket Invitational with two top three finishes, one in the 1650-yard freestyle and in the other in the 400-yard IM. Stevenson touched the wall second in the 1650-free in a time of 18:32.03 and third in the 400-IM in a time of 4:51.56.

Dani Humphrey, Sweet Briar - (Sr., Vienna, Va.)
In a 148-92 duel meet victory over Hollins, Humphrey swam the butterfly leg of the winning 200-meter medley relay team (2:16.06). She also won the 50-meter freestyle (:29.56), the 100-meter butterfly (1:15.55) and was part of the 200-meter freestyle relay team that touched first (2:04.93).
