Thetford, a sophomore from Birmingham, Ala., led the Generals to a dual meet win over Virginia Military Academy last week, setting a pair of NCAA B-cut qualification times in the process. Thetford improved upon his already ODAC best times in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events, winning both along the way. In the 100-free, he stopped the watches in 0:45.49. He posted a time of 0:20.10 in the 50-free, which also ties his own ODAC record set during participation at the 2015 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. Thetford helped Washington and Lee to wins in the 200-yard medley and freestyle relays, posting times of 1:35.34 and 1:26.23, respectively.

Mohamed Saleh, Randolph-Macon (Jr. - Freestyle/Backstroke)
Saleh continued his strong season with wins in the 100-back and 50-free in the Yellow Jackets tri-meet win over Hampden-Sydney (167-69) and Ferrum (185-4). He posted times of 0:57.60 and 0:23.29, respectively. He also helped R-MC to wins in the 200-medley (1:46.16) and 200-free (1:34.58) relays, swimming the anchor leg in each.
