Emily Perszyk, Washington and Lee, Fr., Guard

Perszyk, a freshman from Greendale, Wis., helped the Generals to a pair of conference wins to move within one game of the top spot in the ODAC standings.  Perszyk buried nine three-pointers on the week, bringing her season total to 34 -- the most at W&L since Meg Ingram connected on 66 in 2012.  Perszyk notced a game-best 22 points in a 64-49 win at Randolph.  She nailed 6-of-10 from deep, making five of those shots (including three straight possessions) during a decisive 25-10 run over the final 10 minutes to defeat the WildCats.  She added four rebounds and two steals to her totals.  In a 83-72 home win over Virginia Wesleyan, Perszyk connected on 3-of-4 from long distance, finishing with 11 points and two rebounds to help the Generals to their seventh win in eight games. Perszyk is averaging 9.4 points per game. Her 34 made three-pointers rank fifth in the ODAC, while she's eighth in three-point percentage (37.0).
