Lam, a senior from Elkton, Va., continued her strong scoring run to start the season with 77 points scored for an average of 25.7 per game in the Eagles 2-1 week. In a 91-89 overtime setback to Ferrum, Lam played all 45 minutes and scored a Bridgewater program-record 36 points on 13-of-20 from the field. She hit a pair of three-pointers and was 8-of-13 from the foul line to go with six rebounds, two steals, and two assists. Lam followed that with 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting in an 84-66 win at Hood. She chipped in five rebounds, six assists and four steals. Lam capped her week by joining the BC 1,000-point club with 19 points in a 79-63 win over Apprentice School. She notched four rebounds, three steals, and two assists in that outing. For the season, Lam leads in the ODAC in scoring average (23.2), total points scored (209), field goals made (72), and free throw made (56). She is fifth in the league in field goal shooting (52.2%).

Week Four Women's Basketball Notes

- Chloe Roach continues to produce for Eastern Mennonite as she averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 4.0 steals in the Royals' 2-0 week. She had a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards in a 65-59 win over Roanoke, adding in six assists, three steals and two blocked shots. She registered 16 points, four assists and six steals in a 95-26 shellacking of Trinity (D.C.).

- Taylor Blevins led Emory & Henry to a 68-64 win over Warren Wilson, which is rated #20 in USCAA Division II. She posted a double-double with 18 points and 10 boards while shooting 7-of-12 from the field.

- Lynchburg head coach Abby Pyzik Smith picked up her 100th of her career, becoming the fastest in program history to reach the century mark in her seventh season. She is the second in program history in wins behind former mentor Marie Lewis (232 wins).

- Charmaine Hairston joined Lynchburg's 1,000-point club in a 96-55 win over Averett. She poured in 34 points on 13-of-27 from the field and 5-of-6 from the stripe. She added two assists and a steal. She notched 17 points with four assists and three steals in an 89-57 win over Meredith.

- Randolph picked up two wins last week with Alexis Calloway posting a pair of solid outings. She had eight points and 11 rebounds with two steals in a 56-51 win over Salem College. She backed that with 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting and 10 rebounds in an 86-40 triumph at Mary Baldwin. The double-double was the second of her career.

- Kelly Williams put up the first 20-20 game of her career in Randolph-Macon's loss at Roanoke. She scored 22 points and pulled down 20 rebounds, including 11 via the offensive glass, to go with four blocked shots and three steals.

- Cary Beahm registered two double-doubles in the Maroons' 1-1 week. She ahd 16 points and 10 boards in a loss at Eastern Mennonite before recording 19 points and 11 rebounds with two assists in a 77-56 win over Randolph-Macon. That victory marked the first RC win over R-MC since 2010.
