Ramsey, a senior from Lexington, N.C., put together a pair of strong efforts to help the Quakers run their ODAC-best winning streak to six games with two more victories last week. Ramsey opened with a game-high 22 points in a 77-75 overtime victory over Oglethorpe. Ramsey made the layup to put the Quakers up for good with 44-seconds to play in the extra period. She added six rebounds and three assists to her stat line. Ramsey then helped the Quakers move to 2-0 in ODAC play by tying for game-high honors with teammate Miracle Walters with 18 points in a 62-49 win at Virginia Wesleyan. She shook off a 4-of-13 shooting day from the field by canning 9-of-10 from the stripe and pulling down 11 rebounds for her second career double-double. She added a game-best six assists and three steals. For the season, Ramsey is sixth in the ODAC in scoring (16.0) and seventh in points scored (112). She is third in minutes played (35.1) and total assists (32) and seventh in steals (15) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5).

Women's Basketball Weekly Notes

Bridgewater went 2-0 with wins over Emory & Henry (74-68) and at Apprentice (73-69). Kaitlyn Lehan scored 15 points in both outings, adding four boards against the Wasps and nine rebounds against the Builders. She shot 52.6-percent (10-of-19) for the week.

Eastern Mennonite picked up a big win at Lynchburg (64-59) in its lone outing of the week. Chrissy Delawder had a lot to do with that, pouring in a career-high 18 points that including a 5-for-6 showing from the stripe over the final 22-seconds of the game. She added four boards and two steals.

Emory & Henry dropped its only outing of the week at Bridgewater (74-68), falling to 5-2 on the season. Taylor Blevins went for 11 points and five boards while chipping in two steals.

Hollins dropped a pair of outings to Randolph-Macon (78-22) and at Gallaudet (67-51). Keyazia Taylor went for 12 points and five boards at GU.

Lynchburg split two games last week, falling to Eastern Mennonite (64-59) before topping N.C. Wesleyan (70-62). After going for 10 points and seven rebounds against EMU, Molly Shephard came up big with 21 second-half points on the way to 22 points and 11 rebounds against NCWC. She was 8-of-12 from the field and pulled down six boards via the offensive glass.

Randolph dropped a tight ballgame at Shenandoah (62-60) in its only game of the week after weather cancelled its outing against Mid-Atlantic Christian. Daijah Johnson had a full stat sheet with 11 points, five rebounds, six assists, three steals, and a blocked shot at SU.

Randolph-Macon defeated Hollins (78-22) in its only game of the week. The victory marks the second-straight week in which R-MC posted a 56-point margin of victory. Becca Arrington put together a strong outing at HU with 19 points on 6-of-8 from the field that including a 4-for-4 showing from deep. She added five rebounds and three steals.

Roanoke dropped a pair of outings to Washington and Lee (67-52) and Southern Virginia (69-65), the latter in overtime. Kristina Harrell had a big outing against SVU with 23 points on 11-of-13 from the foul line. She added seven boards and nine steals to come up just shy of a rare double-double combination.

Shenandoah improved to 4-3 on the season with wins over Randolph (62-60) and at Mary Baldwin (72-55). Jordan Sondrol had two strong outings, going for 20 points and eight boards with two blocked shots over Randolph and 17 points with 16 boards for her first double-double of the season. She shot 56-percent (14-of-25) for the week.

Virginia Wesleyan fell to Guilford in its lone game of the week. Amanda Gerni led with 16 points and nine boards. She buried four three-pointers along the way.

Washington and Lee snapped its three-game skid with a win at Roanoke (67-52). Emily Perszyk led with 22 points and six rebounds with three assists.
