Valles, a junior from South Windsor, Conn., picks up her second straight ODAC weekly award.  Valles scored 12 goals and had 18 assists for 30 points in three games last week.  She was one helper shy of tying the ODAC and NCAA assists record with 10 against Hollins.  The ODAC-leading scorer had 10 points (6g, 4a) against Bridgewater the following day.  She finished the week with three goals and four assists against Guilford in the regular season home finale. 

Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Erin Cartwright, Bridgewater, Senior - Attack
Cartwright scored five goals to go along with six assists in three conference games this past week. Cartwright had three assists vs. Roanoke and then scored four goals with three assists in a victory over Hollins. She added one goal in BC’s season-ending loss at Lynchburg.

Carrie Ernst, Guilford, Senior - Midfield
Ernst helped Guilford to a 1-1 week with a team-high five points on four goals and an assist… also paced the Quakers with seven draw controls and three caused turnovers… scored a game-high five points on four goals and an assist in the Quakers’ win over Sweet Briar… added two ground balls, three draw controls and a caused turnover in the game… had four draw controls and a caused turnover in a loss to Roanoke.

Lesley Buckingham, Lynchburg, Sophomore - Midfield
Buckingham continued to torch the goal this week against Bridgewater College. She posted a hat trick in each half as she tallied six goals on 10 shots along with one assist. For the season, Buckingham has 45 goals and 14 assists.

Logan Pomeroy, Randolph-Macon, Senior - Midfield
Pomeroy helped R-MC to a 2-1 week.  Pomeroy scored two goal in a win over VWC and five goals against Sweet Briar.  In a one goal loss to Washington and Lee, Pomeroy had two goals, four draw controls and two ground balls.

Christina Benedetti, Washington and Lee, Sophomore - Midfield
Benedetti led the Generals in a 9-8 victory over Randolph-Macon on Sunday. Finished the contest with a game-high four goals while going a perfect 2-for-2 on free position shots. She also collected two ground balls and won two draw controls. This season, Benedetti has started and played in 11 of the Generals’ 14 contests, tallying 15 points (11g, 4a). She ranks second on the team in ground balls (27), while winning 17 draw controls.
