Colley, a junior from Wells, Maine, helped Guilford to a trio of wins last week that extended the Quakers' school-record winning streak to 12 games. Colley notched 21 points on the week with 14 goals and seven assists. She also picked up 10 groundballs, controlled 11 draws and caused seven turnovers. In a win at Hollins to open the week, Colley notched four goals and two assists. She followed that with four goals and three assists in a 17-4 win over Shenandoah, which marked the first conference loss in eight tries for SU. Colley capped her week with six goals and pair of helpers in a 17-11 non-conference win over Marymount (Va.). Colley is second in the ODAC in points (95), goals (60) and assists (35). She is now fourth all-time at Guilford with 173 career points.
Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Carli Bafford, Bridgewater (Va.) -
(Fr, Midfielder - Westminster, Md, 11)
Bafford led BC to a 1-1 week with eight goals against league
competition. In a 12-8 triumph over Sweet Briar, Bafford
notched four goals and three draw controls. She followed that
with four more tallies and four draws in a 14-13 road loss at
Randolph.
Katherine Francis, Lynchburg - (Fr,
Midfielder - Lebanon, NJ, 18)
Francis notched six goals in Lynchburg's 1-1 week. She
scored five times in a 13-11 loss to Roanoke. She came back
with one goal in a 19-8 triumph at Randolph. Francis also
recorded five draw controls, four caused turnovers and four
groundballs over the two games.
Katie Russo, Randolph-Macon - (Fr, A -
Cockeysville, MD, 15)
Russo helped the Yellow Jackets to a pair of ODAC wins, both by
one goal. She scored four times in a 13-12 victory at
Virginia Wesleyan. Her final tally proved to be the
game-winner with just over two minutes to play. Russo came
back with one goal in Randolph-Macon's 14-13 home win against
Bridgewater.
Darragh Evarts, Roanoke - (So, - Goldens
Bridge, NY, 10)
Evarts helped lead Roanoke to a a pair of conference wins over the
past week. She scored five times, dished out an assist and
came away with five draws in a 13-11 win over Lynchburg. She
added three goals and another helper with 12 draw controls in a
21-10 triumph over Virginia Wesleyan. Evarts is fourth in the
ODAC in points (66) and third in goals scored (53).
Emily Conway, Washington and Lee - (Fr,
M - Darien, Conn., 11)
Conway scored once and dished out a pair of assists as the
Generals fell to Mary Washington, 14-7, in their only game of the
week. She also controlled three draws, caused two turnovers
and picked up a groundball.
