Lily Colley, Guilford, Jr., Attack
April 22, 2013Colley, a junior from Wells, Maine, picks up her second straight weekly honor after leading the Quakers to wins over Roanoke and Washington and Lee. The two victories gave Guilford their first undefeated conference season at 10-0 and the top seed heading into the ODAC Tournament. College scored 11 times and dished out four assists between the two contests. She had a career-high seven goals with two assists as the Quakers' recovered from a 12-9 second-half deficit. Colley came back with four goals and two helpers in an 11-6 triumph over the Generals, increasing GC's winning streak to 14 games. She has increased her season point total to 110, one shy of teammate E'leyna Garcia for the most in school history. Also second in the ODAC in goals scored (71) and assists (39), Colley moved into a share of third place on Guilford's career scoring chart with 188 points (119g, 69a). -
Lily Colley, Guilford, Jr., Attack
April 15, 2013Colley, a junior from Wells, Maine, helped Guilford to a trio of wins last week that extended the Quakers' school-record winning streak to 12 games. Colley notched 21 points on the week with 14 goals and seven assists. She also picked up 10 groundballs, controlled 11 draws and caused seven turnovers. In a win at Hollins to open the week, Colley notched four goals and two assists. She followed that with four goals and three assists in a 17-4 win over Shenandoah, which marked the first conference loss in eight tries for SU. Colley capped her week with six goals and pair of helpers in a 17-11 non-conference win over Marymount (Va.). Colley is second in the ODAC in points (95), goals (60) and assists (35). She is now fourth all-time at Guilford with 173 career points.

Liz Bereit, Shenandoah, So., Midfielder
April 08, 2013Bereit, a sophomore from Latrobe, Pa., helped lead Shenandoah to a pair of ODAC wins over the past week. She opened the stanza with two goals and an assist in an 11-7 win over Washington and Lee. She was 1-of-1 on free-position shots and corralled a draw. Bereit followed that with a hat-trick and two helpers in an 11-5 Hornets’ win over Sweet Briar over the weekend. She was 2-of-3 on free-position tries, while grabbing three draws and two ground balls and causing a pair of turnovers. Bereit is currently second for Shenandoah with 44 points on 28 goals and 16 assists.

Allison Bonanno, Roanoke, Jr., Attack
April 01, 2013Bonanno, a junior from Ridgewood, N.J., helped the Hornets to a 2-0 week in ODAC action with a near-NCAA Division III record in the one of the contests. Bonanna opened the week with four assists and seven draw controls in the Maroons 22-1 win over Hollins. At Randolph-Macon on the weekend, Bonanno set an ODAC and Roanoke record with 12 assists as the Maroons topped the Yellow Jackets, 21-11. The assists mark is second all-time in NCAA Division III history, topped by the 14 helpers posted by Krystin Shand from Farmingdale State in 2012. Bonanno had a hand in 15 of the Maroons' 21 goals scored against R-MC as she also tallied three times. For the season, Bonanno leads the ODAC with 44 assists and is third with 68 points. She entered last week's games tied for second in the country with 28 assists.

E'leyna Garcia, Guilford, Jr., Attack
March 25, 2013Garcia, a junior from Plantation, Fla., picks up her third weekly award of the season as she helped the Quakers to their best start in school history with two more wins to improve the team's record to 7-1. Garcia exploded for 17 goals and two assists with eight draw controls, six groundballs and three caused turnovers in wins over NCAA Division II member, Catawba (22-10) and Virginia Wesleyan (14-10). She tied schools records for goals and points in a game against Catawba as she notched 10 goals and one assist. In the effort, she became Guilford's all-time leading goal-scorer with 157. Against VWC, Garcia scored seven times and assisted on another. She busted an 8-8 tie in the second-half that sent GC on a 6-1 run to finish the contest. Garcia currently leads the ODAC with 64 points and 55 goals scored. The latter is three short of setting a new Guilford single-season record.

Kathleen Wager, Roanoke, Sr., Midfielder
March 18, 2013Wager, a senior from Lexington, Va., helped lead the Maroons to a pair of one-goal victories last week. Included in that effort was a 13-12 triple overtime triumph over Washington and Lee in which Wager netted the game-winner. She posted four goals and assisted on another against Generals. She also pulled in four draws. Over the weekend against Drew University, Wager tallied five times in Roanoke's 14-13 victory. She grabbed five groundballs and five turnovers, and also caused a pair of turnovers. For the season, Wager, who didn't play in the first two games, has 12 points on 11 goals and one assist.

Taylor Klevenz, Randolph, So., Midfielder
March 11, 2013Klevenz, a sophomore from Cherry Hill, N.J., helped the WildCats to a pair of victories to improve their season record to 3-2, the first winning record in program history. Klevenz tallied seven points in a 19-7 win over NCAA Division II member West Virginia Wesleyan College on Tuesday afternoon. She netted four goals, dished out three helpers and picked up five ground balls and four draw controls. On Saturday in a win over Meredith, she scored five times. For the week, Klevenz scored on all four of her free position shots, added six ground balls and seven draw controls to go with nine goals.

E'leyna Garcia, Guilford, Jr., Attack
March 04, 2013Garcia, a junior from Plantation, Fla., picks up her second weekly award of the season after helping the Quakers to a 1-1 week. She scored 13 goals over the two games, including a school-record 10 tallies in Guilford's 21-7 triumph over cross-town rival Greensboro. Her outburst broke the former nine-goal standard that was set in 1993. Garcia, who had three goals and an assist in a 14-12 loss to Rochester Institute, moved into seventh place on the GC all-time goal-scoring list with 121 goals in 38 games played. Garcia also collected three draw controls in each contest.

Olivia Hurt, Sweet Briar, Jr., Midfielder
February 25, 2013Hurt, a junior from Charlottesville, Va., led the Vixens to a pair of wins in the opening week of Sweet Briar's season. In a 12-11 win over Ferrum, Hurt notched three goals and an assist. Hurt upped the ante in the Vixens' second contest as she recorded six goals and an assist in a 19-6 triumph over the University of Dallas. She also had three draw controls in that contest. The junior midfielder picked up where she left off last season, tying for third in the conference for goals scored (57).

E'leyna Garcia, Guilford, Jr., Attack
February 18, 2013Garcia, a junior from Plantation, Fla., led Guilford with a career-high eight points on six goals and two assists in the Quakers' season-opening 18-5 win over Sewanee. She also picked up six ground balls and won three draw controls. Her eight points stand ninth in Guilford's single-game history and her six goals are the sixth-highest total. She moved into eighth place on Guilford's career scoring list (152 points) and ninth place on Guilford's career goals chart (108). The two helpers put her into third place on Guilford's career assists list (44).
