McCorry, a senior from Downingtown, Pa., opened the season with a stat sheet-stuffing performance in the Hornets 17-7 win over Hood. McCorry scored three goals and dished out three assists for six points. She added seven ground balls and four draw controls while also causing two turnovers. Six of her seven shots were on goal, and she converted 2-of-4 free position attempts.
Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Madison Iandoli, GC: scored four times and dished out an assist in the Quakers 16-6 win. Also collected four draws, one ground ball, and caused a turnover.
Ashley Campos, VWU: helped lead the Marlins to an 18-7 win in head coach Kendyl Clarkson's first game with the Marlins. Campos scored a career-best six goals and picked up three ground balls.
