O'Hara, a junior from Fairfax, Va., was right in the thick of the action as the Eagles posted a 14-13 overtime upset victory at Christopher Newport University. O'Hara scored five times while picking up three ground balls and causing two turnovers. She scored with 4:06 showing on the second-half clock, creating a 13-13 tie that persisted thru the end of regulation. He final goal of the game came in overtime as she locked up the win for Bridgwater in its season-opener.

Mimi MacCowatt, W&L: scored twice in a 10-9 setback at St. Mary's (Md.), and then added two more goals in an 8-4 victory over seventh-ranked Franklin & Marshall.
