Eugenie Rovegno, Washington and Lee, Jr., Defense

Rovegno, a junior from Duxbury, Mass., earns her second ODAC defensive weekly honor of the season after helping nationally fourth-ranked Washington and Lee improve to 6-0 on the season with a 12-6 triumph at #21 Catholic University over the weekend. Rovegno, who earned IWLCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week laurels two weeks ago, forced three turnovers and picked up five ground balls against the Cardinals. She also collected three draw controls. Her last caused turnover led directly to a Sophie Edwards goal to make it 8-3 late in the third quarter. For the season, Rovegno is second in the ODAC with 14 caused turnovers and fourth with 27 draw controls.
