Pencile, a junior from Chester, Va., put scored five goals over two games as she helped Shenandoah to a 1-1 week to move to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the ODAC standings so far this season. Pencile opened with three goals in the Hornets 4-1 triumph for 2019 ODAC champion Randolph-Macon. She tallied SU's final three goals in the 28th, 32nd, and 56th minutes, the latter providing the Hornets with a 4-0 advantage. In SU's second game of the week at Roanoke, Pencile again helped the Hornets to a big lead as she scored in the 42nd and 54th minutes to put Shenandoah ahead, 3-0, but the Maroons responded with four unanswered goals to take the result, 4-3. For the season, Pencile leads the ODAC in points (12) and goals scored (6).
