Shyenne Diaz, Virginia Wesleyan, Fy., Forward
October 31, 2022Diaz, a first-year from Virginia Beach, Va., ends her first collegiate regular season just like she began it with an ODAC weekly award following a four-goal week for Virginia Wesleyan. Diaz was on the mark three times for her first collegiate hat trick in the Marlins 4-1 victory over Randolph-Macon. She put VWU ahead, 2-1, in the 54th minute with the first of three straight unassisted efforts. She ran on to a headed-on throw-in and two-poked it into the upper netting above the keeper. Diaz made it 3-1 Marlins in the 79th minute when she collected an errant defensive header and beat the keeper to the near post with a low drive from 10-yards out. Her final tally came 61 seconds later when she took a left-side throw-in with her back to goal, took two touches to create space and lashed a strike from 15 yards inside the front post. Diaz registered her final goal of the week as part of a 4-0 victory over Roanoke in the season finale. She scored the Marlins third goal 48-seconds into the second half via an unassisted effort. For the season, Diaz is fourth in the ODAC in points (24) and goals scored (11) and has handed out a pair of assists. She has notched an ODAC-best six goals that would be considered game-winners. -
Lindsay White, Washington and Lee, Sr., Forward
October 24, 2022White, a senior from Greensville, S.C., was on the mark twice as she helped Washington and Lee to a pair of ODAC to remain alone at the top of the conference standings. White provided the game-winning goal in the 87th minute in a 2-1 triumph over Bridgewater in a clash of top-of-the-table league squads. She collected a deflect pass from Emma Mansfield about 10 yards out to the right of the six-yard box and fired a shot into the far corner for the deciding score. White then opened the Generals account in a 4-0 victory at Averett on the weekend. She found the net off a corner kick scenario in the fifth minute for a 1-0 advantage. For the season, White has registered 17 points powered by seven goals scored, both ranking seventh in the conference. She has also dished out three assists.

Sydney Smith, Washington and Lee, Jr., Goalkeeper
October 17, 2022Smith, a junior from Damascus, Md., ably guard Washington and Lee's net in a pair of ODAC shutouts to keep the Generals unbeaten overall at 10-0-4 and two points back in the conference table with 16 at 5-0-1. Smith made five saves in a 2-0 road win at Roanoke College. Three of her stops came in the second half. Smith then made all five of her saves in the second half in a 1-0 victory over nationally 18th-ranked Virginia Wesleyan. Four of those stops came between the 81st and 86th minutes to help preserve the victory. Smith leads the ODAC with seven shutouts and 1,172:42 of time between the posts. She is third in goals against average (0.61) and has made 29 saves towards a .784 save percentage.

Mac Joly, Lynchburg, Fy., Forward
October 10, 2022Joly, a first-year from Mechanicsville, Va., had a four-goal week in helping Lynchburg to a 2-1-0 showing with both victories against ODAC foes to keep the Hornets locked with Bridgewater College and Virginia Wesleyan University at 4-0 atop the league table. Lynchburg, which dropped a late 1-0 result to nationally top-ranked Christopher Newport University to start the week, earned road wins at Sweet Briar and Ferrum in the Hornets remaining two fixtures. Joly was on the mark three times for the Hornets first hat trick of the season in a 9-0 win over the Vixens. She scored the Hornets fourth, fifth and eighth goals. Joly was again on the scoresheet in a 5-0 win over the Panthers. She registered the game's final tally in the 62nd minute with a full volley off the right-post following a cross played by Ella Tampio-Iorns. For the season, Joly has registered 10 points on five goals scored, sixth-most in the league.

Sydney Dombrovskis, Lynchburg, So., Forward
October 03, 2022Dombrovskis, a sophomore from Ruckersville, Va., helped Lynchburg post its second ODAC victory in as many outings with a five-point outing in the Hornets lone action of the week. Dombrovskis scored twice and dished out an assist in Lynchburg's 7-0 victory over Averett University, which improved the Hornets overall record to 4-1-4. She opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a drive inside the front-post and the keeper from a sharp angle. Dombrovskis then provided the service 10 minutes later on Lynchburg's second goal as she drove deep towards the end line before playing a ball back to the penalty spot and in the path of an oncoming Victoria Newman, who slotted it over the keepers head. Dombrovskis made it 4-0 Hornets in the 51st minute with a strike from 25 yards out. For the season, Dombrovskis has registered seven points on three goals and one assist.

MC Petrucelli, Roanoke, Jr., Forward
September 26, 2022Petrucelli, a junior from Midlothian, Va., helped Roanoke break through with a pair of victories over the past week with a five-goal explosion. Petrucelli scored twice to help the Maroons pick up their fourth win of the year in a 7-2 triumph at Mary Baldwin. After MBU took a 1-0 lead just 37 seconds from the opening whistle, Petrucelli leveled the score in the 12th minute. Her header at the left-post was initially saved by MBU's keeper, but Petrucelli sent the rebound shot into the far netting to register the equalizer. She made it 4-1 Maroons in the 58th minute with a calm finish off a pass from right-to-left across goal by Morgan O'Neill. Petrucelli then helped Roanoke begin ODAC play with her second career hat trick in a 4-0 win over Eastern Mennonite. With Roanoke ahead 1-0, Petrucelli received a cross from the right wing and brought it down mid-box with a defender at her back. She turned to her left and deposited a low left-foot shot past the keeper into the corner for a 2-0 advantage at the 11:36 mark. Petrucelli's second unassisted effort came as the first of two goals in the 70th minute. She took control the ball at midfield and took her shot from 20 yards into the top-right corner for a 3-0 lead. Just 11 seconds later, she finished off a through-ball from Brooke Nicholson with a left foot across the keeper and off the far-right post for a 4-0 lead at 69:29. For the season, Petrucelli is tied for the ODAC lead in points (16) and goals scored (6) with Shyenne Diaz from Virginia Wesleyan.

Ann Riley Huber, Washington and Lee, So., Midfielder
September 19, 2022Huber, a sophomore from Atlanta, Ga., showed off her speed in helping Washington and Lee to a pair of victories over contending foes from the south with her first points of the 2022 season. Huber opened her weekly account in a 3-1 win at Covenant. She burned past her marks on the left wing and beat them to the end line before putting a perfect pass into Grace Wielechowski for a goal in the 86th minute. Huber then scored the game-winner in the 58th minute win at Berry College, 2-1. She took the ball off a Vikings midfielder and created space with good footwork before sending a 25-yard blast into the upper-left corner to break a 1-1 draw.

Madison Green, Guilford, Sr., Defender
September 12, 2022Green, a senior from Walnut Cove, N.C., helped Guilford improve to 4-0 atop the ODAC standings with a pair of non-conference victories over the past week. Green scored the Quakers second goal during its midweek contest against William Peace, beating the keeper in the 47th minute to give Guilford a 2-0 lead on the way to a 2-1 triumph. She then registered her third career multi-goal game in a 3-0 victory over Bob Jones University on Saturday. She finished off a pass from Sarah Hall in the 55th minute, and then notched the Quakers final goal a little over three minutes later via an unassisted score. Through four games, Green leads the ODAC in points (10) and goals scored (5).

Shyenne Diaz, Virginia Wesleyan, Fy., Forward
September 06, 2022Diaz, a first-year from Virginia Beach, Va., kicked off her collegiate career with a pair of game-winning goals to help Virginia Wesleyan open the new season with two wins. Diaz's first winner came in a 1-0 victory over preseason 10th-ranked McDaniel College. She took a feed from Alexis Miller and shook her defender on the way to the game's only goal in the 62nd minute. There was a bit more drama to Diaz's second collegiate goal in the Marlins 1-0 victory over the College of St. Benedict, which held #1 Christopher Newport to a 1-0 result the day before. Diaz peppered four shots at the Bennies' net, but it was her 85th minute effort that was on-target as she took a quick pass from Alexandria Soteriou and pushed it past the keeper for a second single-goal triumph for VWU.
