Lowers, a senior from Suffolk, Va., is the first student-athlete in R-MC volleyball history to receive a spot on the All-American list. Mallory Carter ‘13 received Honorable Mention All-American status in 2011 and 2012.  The two-time ODAC Player of the Year and three-time 2015 ODAC Player of the Week has rewritten the record books, becoming R-MC's all-time leader in career (1,455) and single-season (494) kills.  She received AVCA Player of the Week honors on Nov. 10 for leading R-MC to its fourth conference title, racking up 63 kills over three tournament matches. Her success has helped the Yellow Jackets reach the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament, marking the most successful run of any program in ODAC volleyball history.

Barrett, junior from Stafford, Va., set the Marlins single-season record with 481 kills, which ranks 16th in NCAA D-III and second to Lowers' 494 in the ODAC statistical tables.  She corralled 407 digs with 33 blocks and a team-best 54 aces, which slotted fourth in the conference.

Shand, junior from Saline, Mich., earns AVCA honorable mention distinction for the second straight season after leading the OdAC with a .371 attack percentage and placing fifth with 316 kills.  Her 92 blocks are third in the ODAC and give her 301 for her career, sixth most in W&L's record book.
