Kylah Blackmore, Roanoke, Sr., Outside Hitter

Blackmore, a senior from Mechanicsville, Va., exploded for a high-volume double-double as the Maroons erased a 3-0 loss to Guilford earlier this season with a 3-2 triumph over the Quakers. Blackmore registered 28 kills to go with 18 digs. The 28 kills are the most in the ODAC this season and second-most in Roanoke history. It also ties for 13th as the sixth-best total in a five-set match in NCAA Division III this season. Blackmore committed just two errors to rack up a .456 attack percentage. She also tacked on a block-assist to bring her point total to 28.5 for the match and 5.7 per set. For the season, Blackmore leads the ODAC with 220 kills and is second at 3.14 per match. She owns the top-two highest output matches for kills this season, joining this effort with 25 kills against Methodist earlier this season.

Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

Rachel Girard, S, BC: Set a Bridgewater record with 14 service aces in a 3-0 victory over Mary Baldwin. Had 28 assists and 10 digs in that match. Added 12 assists and eight digs in a 3-1 win at Emory & Henry.

Janna Williams, OH, EMU: Registered 32 kills and hit .261 with five blocks in a 2-2 week for the Royals. Had 10 kills and two blocks in a 3-2 loss to Virginia Wesleyan. Had 13 kills in a 3-1 win at St. Mary's (Md.).

Christian Ritter, OH, GC: Had 16 kills and 29 digs in a 3-2 loss at Roanoke. Followed up with 11 winners and a .550 attack percentage with eight digs in a 3-0 win over Johnson & Wales (N.C.).

Sydney Frink, OH, LC: Posted 11 kills in a 3-1 win over Emory & Henry. Had three blocks in a 3-0 loss at Washington and Lee.

Shelby Bergum, MH, RAND: Helped the WildCats to a 3-0 week with 24 kills and a .413 attack percentage to go with four blocks. Had 12 kills in a 3-1 win over Ferrum. Had eight kills and three blocks in a 3-0 win over Emory & Henry.

Miranda Hall, OH, R-MC: Collected 15 kills with four digs and hit .481 in a 3-0 win at Hollins. Had 17 kills with six digs and three blocks in a 3-2 loss to nationally 12th-ranked Juniata.

Elizabeth Britton, OH, VWU: Registered 30 kills with 15 digs and seven blocks in a 3-0 week for Virginia Wesleyan. Had 15 kills and nine digs with two blocks in a 3-2 win over William Peace. Had 13 kills and five blocks in a 3-2 win at Eastern Mennonite.
