Meg Guignon, Washington and Lee, Jr., Outside Hitter

Guignon, a junior from St. Louis, Mo., blistered on the outside for Washington and Lee as the Generals racked up two more wins. Guignon accounted for 37 total points a 6.2 per set in a pair of 3-0 victories. She opened with 19 kills against just two errors while hitting .447 in a win over Averett. She added six digs and a pair of blocks. She followed that with 16 winners versus just one miscue for a .484 attack percentage. She chipped in 16 digs, two assists, and an ace. For the season, Guignon leads the ODAC in kills per set (3.27) and points per set (3.6), while ranking second in total points (282.0) and third in total kills (258) and total attacks (812).

Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

Rachel Gaston, OH, BC: Collected 24 total kills including 16 winners with two digs in a 3-1 win over Lynchburg.

Maria Yoder, MB, EMU: Had 34 kills and hit .342 with 13 total blocks in a 2-2 week for the Royals. And 11 kills and five blocks in a 3-1 setback to Lynchburg. Had another 11 kills with two blocks in a 3-2 loss at Shenandoah. Had 12 combined kills and six combined blocks in a 3-0 wins over Randolph and Dickinson.

Sydney Frink, OH, LC: Smacked 18 kills in a 1-1 week, including 12 winners with two blocks in a 3-1 loss at Bridgewater. Had six kills and two blocks in a 3-1 win at EMU.

Samantha Sallade, L, R-MC: Picked up 54 total digs for a 6.00 per set average in a trio of 3-0 wins. Had 26 digs for an 8.67 average against Bridgewater and 20 digs for a 6.67 averagge against Emory & Henry. Added 17 assists and three aces to her stat line. Has now registered 1,989 career digs, which ranks #1 in ODAC history.

Christen Zammit, DS, RC: Registered 62 assists and 21 digs in Roanoke's two matches last week, including 40 assists and 16 digs in a 3-0 loss at Shenandoah.

Doneisha Hall, OH, VWU: Went for 28 kills, seven digs and four blocks in a 3-0 week for VWU. Had 12 kills in a 3-1 win over Southern Virginia, and tacked on 10 winners with a block in a 3-0 win over Emory & Henry. Had six kills and three blocks in a 3-1 victory over Guilford.
