Gaston, a senior from Mechanicsville, Va., led Bridgewater to a 4-0 week that improved the Eagles' season record to 11-0 thru the first three weeks of the schedule. Gaston, the reigning ODAC Player of the Year, averaged 4.00 kills per set and hit .269 with 36 digs at a 3.60 per-set clip. She also accounted for 43.0 total points at 4.3 per set. Gaston opened with nine kills and nine digs in a 3-0 win at Shenandoah. After hammering out four kills wth two assists in a set of work towards a 3-0 win over Mary Baldwin, Gaston registered the first of her two double-doubles on the week with 15 kills, 15 digs, and two blocks in a 3-0 victory over Hollins. She hit .394 in that match. She capped her week with 12 kills at a .300 attack percentage to go with 12 digs in a 3-0 victory over Greensboro. For the season, Gaston is third in the ODAC in kills (126) and kills per set (4.06), second in points per set (4.5), and fourth in total points (141.0).
