Luke Sohl, Bridgewater, So.

Sohl, a sophomore from Burke, Va., paced the Eagles as the CNU Invitational on Saturday.  The 2011 ODAC Rookie of the Year crossed the finish line in 25:25.69 to finish second overall on the eight-kilometer course.  Sohl's time is the faster on an 8K course in the ODAC this season.  Sohl's efforts helped Bridgewater to a third place team finish.

Men's Cross Country Honor Roll

Dan Nafziger, Eastern Mennonite - (Jr., - Harrisonburg, VA)
Nafziger had a personal season-best time on Saturday, taking third among D-III runners at the CNU Invitational. Nafziger crossed the 8k finish line in 25:35.66, finishing within 1.5 seconds to two D-I runners.

Cody Stanton, Lynchburg College - (Junior, - Memphis, NY )
Stanton took sixth overall with an eight-kilometer time of 25:44 on Saturday at the CNU Invitational. Lynchburg took second place and finished first among Division III schools. VCU won the team title with 48 points, with LC just six points behind in the 13-team field.

Ryan Purrington, Randolph -
(Jr., Runner - Gloucester, VA)
Purrington broke the Randolph College record for fastest time in an eight-kilometer race by nearly a minute, as the junior ran a 27:15 at the Gettysburg Invitational to break the previous mark of 28:11, also set by Purrington.

Tim Smith, Roanoke -
(Sr, - Roanoke, VA)
Smith finished eighth at the Gettysburg Invitational with an 8K time of 26:02.  The Maroons took 14th as a team out of 35 squads.
