Jamie Hiegel, Bridgewater, So.

Hiegel, a sophomore from Richmond, Va., won the Hornet Harrier/Commonwealth Challenge over the weekend, helping Bridgewater to first place in a team standings that featured several ODAC schools. Hiegel posted a six-kilometer time of 19:51.0, capturing his first collegiate championship.  Bridgewater won the team trophy with just 34 points.

Men's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll

Alex Cooper, Emory & Henry (Sr.)
Cooper finished 18th overall and first among NCAA Division III competitors at the Greensboro Invitational. He posted atime of 29:11.0 over the 8K course, helping E&H to six overall and first D3 in the team standings.

Alex Clem, Randolph (So.)
Clem won his division and placed sixth overall inthe four mile competition at the Virginia 4-Miler. He posted a time of 23:32.0, improving upon his 2015 time by nearly 40-seconds.
