Hawk, a sophomore from Coplay, Pa., led Lynchburg to a second place team finish at the Hagan Stone Classic hosted by Greensboro Pacesetters at Hagan Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, N.C. Hawk finished eighth overall with an eight-kilometer time of 29:32.17. He shattered his previous best time (31:24.4) at this distance, which he also established in North Carolina last season in Greensboro.
