May 6, 2023 --- The ninth-ranked Washington and Lee men's lacrosse team secured the 12th ODAC championship in program history on Saturday in a thrilling 12-11 win at No. 11 Lynchburg.

April 29, 2023 --- A spreadsheet full of possible tiebreaker scenarios was ready to be employed to determine the seeding for the upcoming ODAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament. It turns out the easiest of steps broke all three stalemates that dot the seven-team bracket as two of Saturday's competitors -- University of Lynchburg and Hampden-Sydney College -- open as the top two seeds. Lynchburg (8-1) scored a 14-2 triumph over Hampden-Sydney (8-1) under the lights at Shellenberger Field, supply the needed fuel to win the first step of the ODAC's tiebreaker procedures -- head-to-head results -- to secure top billing for the tournament. The Tigers still benefit from a strong bye situation as the second seed in the field, not having to play again until the semifinal round.
