LYNCHBURG, Va. --- Four days of competition in the ODAC Baseball Tournament is slated to begin on Thursday, April 28.  To ensure that takes place with unfavorable weather probable in the Lynchburg area, the first day of the tournament will be moved to Liberty Baseball Stadium on the campus of Liberty University. The remaining three days of competition will return to Lynchburg City Stadium beginning on Friday.

Liberty Baseball Stadium is equipped with an Astroturf playing surface, making it much easier to manage in adverse weather conditions.  Current forecasts call for roughly a 70-percent chance of rain in the Lynchburg area at the time the decision was made to move the first day of competition.

No changes have been made to the game schedule.  First pitch of game one is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. followed by the remaining two contests at 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
