GREENSBORO, N.C. ---For the fourth straight season, Washington and Lee University stands atop the conference swimming podium after claiming both the men's and women's team titles at the 2018 ODAC Swimming Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.
The Generals have now claimed 11th straight women's titles after racking up 1,053.0 total points to lead the 12-team ranking. W&L's men have now won each of the four men's championships conductedby the ODAC, this time accumulating 1,031.5 points.

W&L nearly swept each of the individual honors, led by a trio of dual award winners. Emily Hageboeck and Tommy Thetford doubled as both Women's and Men's Swimmers of the Meet as well as ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athletes. Head coach Kami Gardner collected both ODAC Coach of the Year honors. Mattie Grant and Patrick Sullivan took home ODAC Rookie of the Meet laurels.
Sweet Briar College first year athlete, Sarah Ahson, received the Bonner Kestner Sportsmanship Award in a vote of the league's head coaches.
