Generals Win 12th ODAC Title
Emmy Mathews scored a career-high eight goals to help lead Washington and Lee to its 12th ODAC Title with a 21-13 victory over Roanoke College on Sunday afternoon at Watt Field. The Generals earn the ODAC's automatic qualifier in to the NCAA Division III Tournament. Selections for that tourney are Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. on www.ncaa.com.

Generals Hold Off Marlins in Semifinals
The top-seeded Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team withstood a late rally by fourth-seeded Virginia Wesleyan as it held on for a 9-6 victory in semifinal action of the ODAC Tournament on Wednesday afternoon at Watt Field. The Generals host the 2011 title game, in which they'll go after their 12th overall and second straight league crown.

Valles Powers Maroons to Title Game
Roanoke defeated Lynchburg, 14-8, in the ODAC semifinals on Wednesday evening at Shellenberger Field. The Maroons advance to the conference championship for the fifth appearance at the ODAC title game in the last six years. Gina Valles fired in five goals to go along with an assist to lead RC to victory over LC.

Marlins Push Past Quakers into Semis
Everything came together impressively on both sides of the field for Virginia Wesleyan in the second half of Saturday's ODAC quarterfinal tournament contest against Guilford. The result was an 8-1 half posted by the host Marlins en route to an 18-7 victory on Foster Field at the Trinder Center.

Maroons Top Jackets, Head to Semis
Roanoke outscored Randolph-Macon, 18-2, in the final 45-minutes to win, 26-8, in the ODAC Quarterfinals on Saturday. The Maroons improve to 11-7 while the Yellow Jackets season closes with a 7-10 mark. The Maroons own a 9-2 record against the Yellow Jackets in the ODAC Tournament. RC has won five of the last six meetings against its conference opponent.

Seeding Set for Women's Lax Tourney
Washington and Lee enters the 2011 ODAC Women’s Lacrosse Tournament as the top seed for the second-consecutive season. The Generals boast an undefeated league record, which stands at 9-0, and a 12-4 overall mark. Lynchburg occupies the second seed 21-4 overall, 8-1 in league play. The Generals and the Hornets receive byes into the semifinals.
