Emory & Henry Volleyball Splits A Pair Of ODAC Matches Thursday At Randolph

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Volleyball Team (3-4, 3-4 ODAC) went 1-1 on the day in its Old Dominion Athletic Conference tri-match on the campus of Randolph College. The Wasps defeated the host WildCats, 3-2, in a five-set thriller (25-19, 21-25, 25-27, 25-21, 15-12) before falling to Virginia Wesleyan University, 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-15).

The Randolph Match
- Junior outside hitter Delaini Nagy (Clover, S.C.) posted a team-high 11 kills and made it a double-double with 10 digs while sophomore right-side hitter Carley Williams (Bristol, Tenn.) added 10 kills, seven blocks and seven digs.  
- Freshman middle Hannah Watson (Kingsport, Tenn.) went for 10 kills and five blocks as sophomore outside hitter Savanah Keesee (Madison Heights, Va.) added six kills and 22 digs.
- Sophomore setter Marissa Snapp (Chuckey, Tenn.) contributed 21 assists and 12 digs while sophomore setter Abbie Dillon (Goodview, Va.) went for 16 assists. Freshman libero Sarah Moore (Kingsport, Tenn.) tacked on 32 digs.

The Virginia Wesleyan Match
- Watson led the Wasps with six kills and added three blocks while Keesee posted five kills and 12 digs.
- Snapp and Dillon combined for 12 assists as Moore notched 15 digs.

Up Next
- Emory & Henry will play in another tri-match next Saturday, April 10 on the campus of University of Lynchburg. The Wasps will face the Lynchburg Hornets at noon and the Shenandoah University Hornets at 2:00 p.m.
