The Lead: After defeating Shenandoah in the opening round of the 2021 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Tournament, Roanoke traveled to Lexington to face the top seeded Generals. Washington and Lee came into the tournament as the 18th ranked team in the nation and 5th in the region. W&L swept the doubles matches and with wins at #1 and #6 singles, closed out the Maroons 5-0.
Women's Highlights:
- The #1 doubles team of Jessica Kennedy and Lucy Collins hung tough but eventually fell, 8-3.
- Kennedy and Sophie Bartholomaus each finished their singles matches but both were defeated, 6-0 and 6-0.
