BREVARD, N.C. – The Emory & Henry College Volleyball Team (2-3) rallied from two sets down to earn a 3-2 road victory over Brevard College (0-4) Thursday evening. The Wasps took the match by set scores of 25-27, 23-25, 25-19, 26-24 and 15-7.

Emory & Henry Individual Leaders
- The Wasps saw two players reach double figures in kills led by freshman right-side hitter Carley Williams (Bristol, Tenn.) with 12 kills and five digs while sophomore outside hitter Chelsie Crussell (Kingsport, Tenn.) had a double-double with 11 kills and 19 digs.
- Sophomore middle Makayla Payne (Bristol, Va.) and freshman outside hitter Savanah Keesee (Madison Heights, Va.) each tacked on seven kills in the match.
- Freshman setter Marissa Snapp (Greeneville, Tenn.) posted a personal-best 29 assists and completed the double-double with 10 digs.
- Senior libero Lauren Coolidge (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) went for a team-high 20 digs and added eight assists and three aces. Sophomore defensive specialist Abbie Jennings (Marion, Va.) also reached double figures in digs with 12 on the evening.

Brevard Individual Leaders
- Sydney Fox and Brook Groves notched 11 kills apiece to lead the Tornados.
- Hannah Gordon dished-out 35 assists and added 10 digs while Mariana Rodriguez had 33 digs and four aces.

- Emory & Henry will be back in action on Wednesday, September 11 when it opens the home portion of its schedule and Old Dominion Athletic Conference play against Randolph College. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
