EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Women's Tennis Team (5-1) earned a hard-fought 5-4 win over visiting Bluefield College (1-9) Monday afternoon in cross-divisional action.

How It Happened
- Emory & Henry opened the match with a 2-0 lead as Bluefield only had five players in action. The Wasps won No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles by default.
- During doubles action, junior Logan Graham (Radford, Va.) and sophomore Sarah Marion (Dobson, N.C.) earned an 8-4 win at the No. 2 flight.
- Freshman Tess Flanigan (Marietta, Ga.) and Graham sealed the match with victories in straight sets at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Flanigan won by scores of 6-4 and 6-3 while Graham won - 6-1, 6-4.
