2020 ODAC Tournament Semifinals

The Lead: Seventh-seeded Guilford scored a 66-61 victory over Roanoke in the semifinals of the 2020 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championship on Saturday afternoon.
How it Happened:
- RC led 8-7 early on in the first quarter before it scored seven consecutive points, moving in front 15-7 on a Ajah Alexander basket with just under three minutes to play.
- GC closed the quarter with a 10-2 run, tying the game at 17-17 on a Kristen Roberts three-pointer with under a minute to go.
- A low scoring second quarter saw neither team make a field goal for the first 3:42 before a Kristina Harrel bucket made it 20-19 Guilford.
- RC's Morgan Micallef drained a jumper with just over a minute to play to send the teams to the break with GC leading 26-22.
- Roanoke came out in the second-half and scored 13 of the first 19 points as it moved in front 35-32 on a Micallef layup five minute into the third quarter.
- The Maroons trailed 42-40 in the final minute of the quarter before a Kayla Kinsler basket tied the game heading into the fourth period.
- The fourth quarter was back and forth with Guilford able to up a 52-46 lead on a Monell Dunlap field goal with just over six minutes to play.
- Guilford led 58-54 with 2:23 before a three-pointer by Sayre Brandstatter and a free-throw from Ayanna Scarborough that tied the score at 58-58 with 1:40 to play.
- Following a defensive stop by the Maroons, Harrel connected on one-of-two free-throws with 1:13 remaining giving Roanoke the 59-58 lead.
- After Lindsay Gauldin put GC in front 60-59 next time down the court, Renee Alquiza was fouled on RC's next possession and drained two free-throws to put RC on top 61-60 with 49 seconds to play.
- Out of a GC timeout, the Quakers Miracle Walters converted a three-point play to put Guilford back in front at 63-61 with 32 seconds left on the clock.
- Guilford came up with a defensive stop on the other end of the floor and made one free-throw to push its lead to three.
- Roanoke had a chance to tie the game with seven seconds remaining but its attempt fell short.
- Harrel had 15 points to lead Roanoke. Micallef had 11 and Alquiza had 10 for RC.
- Gauldin led GC with 18 points, 14 of those coming in the fourth quarter.
