Ferrum, Va. – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team traveled south for a non-conference contest against Ferrum College Wednesday evening. The Bison fell to the Panthers, 15-4. Freshman Aarin Burton led the Green and White with two goals.
GAME OVERVIEW
Ferrum scored the first two goals in the game. Freshman Aarin Burton got the Bison on the board with a goal at the 12:03 mark in the first period and again at the 2:57 mark. The Panthers would take a 7-2 lead heading into the second period.
The Panthers were in full control of tonight's contest leading 9-2 heading into the break. In the third period, Ferrum outscored the Bison 3-1, with the lone goal for the Green and White coming off of the stick of Nicholas Melita. The Bison trailed 12-3 after three. Bethany would score just one more goal in the contest. Clay Yingling scored for the Green and White with 3:11 left in the contest.
