The Lead: A late goal by Denison was all the Big Red needed to get the win over the Roanoke College field hockey team on Saturday afternoon.
Highlights:
- The Big Red scored in the 51st minute for the lone score of the game. The ball deflected off of Kristin Kelley with Madeleine Hunt finishing for the goal.
- Madison Wingerter made three saves on the day, playing all 60 minutes in goal.
- The Maroons led Denison in penalty corners 8-3, with the Big Red having the lead in shots, 6-1.
