HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The CUW women's tennis team opened spring break play on Sunday morning against Lynchburg. The Hornets stung the Falcons 6-3 to send the Falcons to 9-4.

The duo of senior Mia Andrae (Cedarburg, Wis.) and freshman Cheyanne Phillips won at No. 2 doubles, 8-2.

Sophomore Ashley Samuta (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) sank Lauren Pascadlo at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 7-5.

Senior Elizabeth Johnson (Hubertus, Wis.) dropped Grace Teefey at No. 6 singles, 6-3, 7-6 (10-3).

The Falcons look to bounce back on Monday against Greenville.
