Emory & Henry Men's Tennis Beats Randolph, 6-3, Saturday At Home

EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Men's Tennis Team (4-5, 3-3 ODAC) kept its postseason hopes alive with a 6-3 win over Randolph College (3-10, 2-7 ODAC) Saturday afternoon in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action.

How It Happened
Emory & Henry took a 2-1 lead after the doubles portion of the match. Junior Brandon McGuire (Christiansburg, Va.) and senior Bryce Williams (Bristol, Tenn.) grabbed a 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles while junior Henry Quesenberry (Christiansburg, Va.) and sophomore Zeke Workman (Dalzell, S.C.) won by the same 8-3 margin at the third doubles flight.

In singles action, junior Archer Marlow (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) won - 6-2, 6-1 - at the second pairing while Williams grabbed a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles. Quesenberry and Workman sealed the match at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively, as Quesenberry won - 6-0, 6-2 - and Workman earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
