How it Happened

  • Back-to-back goals by Ethan Caldwell gave RC a 2-0 edge just under six minutes into the contest.
  • Grant Webster scored a goal on a Jason Sarro assist with exactly five minutes left before Sarro scored 40 seconds later to put RC up 4-0.
  • Anthony Beccaria tallied a goal with 41 seconds remaining, then Carson Peck rounded out the scoring with a goal with three seconds on clock to make it 6-0.
  • A Webster goal 25 seconds into the second quarter was the first of five goals in a 4:36 span to start the period with a Patrick Cline score making it 11-0.
  • RC added seven more goals in the final 9:30 of the half, taking an 18-0 lead into the locker room following a Harrison Peacock goal.
  • Parker Gann scored 18 seconds into the second-half and Cole Boggio notched three straight goals to make it a 22-0 game.
  • Caldwell had five goals and give assists for 10 points. Sarro finished with two goals and six assists and Webster had three goals and five helpers, while Boggio finished with four goals. Josh Vetter had five caused turnovers and Gann won 15 face-offs, leading to a game0hgh 12 groundballs.
  • Roanoke outshot Randolph 66-11, held a 65-15 edge in groundballs and won 31-of-37 face-offs.
  • The 29 goals are tied for the fifth highest in program history. The 23 assists are tied for the second most in school history while the 52 combined points is tied for second most in history as well.
  • Jack Dolan had two goals for Randolph and Corey Boswell made 18 saves.
