The Lead: The men's and women's tennis teams went to Bridgewater for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) matchup on Tuesday afternoon. The men rallied, taking four of the six singles matches on their way to a 5-4 win. The women held a 2-1 lead after doubles, however the Eagles would win five of the six singles matches for the 6-3 win.

Men's Highlights:

• Dalton Capobianco and Zach Kriebel earned an 8-5 win at the #2 spot, the only doubles win for RC.
• After Bridgewater picked up a win at the #1 spot, Capobianco pulled Roanoke to within a point with a 6-0 and 6-1 win at #3. Then Thomas Hodges tied the match at 3-3 when he finished off his opponent, 6-2 and 6-3, at the fifth spot.
• Grayson White took the first set 6-2 before falling 2-6 in the second. White put RC in the lead when he posted a 6-3 win at #2 singles.
• Roanoke would take the match when Lance Beheler took the #6 match, 6-0 and 6-1.

Women's Highlights:

• Lucy Collins and Halle Fernstrum got eh afternoon off to a fast start with an 8-1 win at the top spot.
• At #2 doubles, Margriet Bostoen and Olivia Maccluen won the tie-breaker 7-5 to post an 8-7 victory.
• Fernstrum would claim the lone singles victory with a 6-0 and 6-2 win at #2.

Up next: The men are scheduled to host Washington and Lee on Thursday while the women make the trip to Lynchburg on Saturday afternoon.
