Women's Lacrosse: Mailloux's Five Goal Performance Lifts Bison over Royals
Harrisonburg, Va. – The Bethany College women's lacrosse team traveled south to Virginia to face Eastern Mennonite Royals Wednesday evening on the EMU Turf Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bison scored thirty seconds into the game from a Cassidy Mailloux goal.
- The Royals knotted the game at 1-1 a minute later.
- Bethany and EMU battled back and forth going goal-for-goal in the first period. Mailloux gave Bethany a 4-3 lead with 1:29 to go in the first period. Bison led by one heading into the second period.
- Rikiah Wise scored two goals for the Bison in the second period, extending the Bison lead 6-4 heading into the halftime break.
- Both teams were held scoreless in the third.
- In the fourth Cassidy Mailloux continued her success to find the back of the net, scoring two goals to give the Bison a 8-5 victory.

- Cassidy Mailloux led the Bison with five goals.
- Rikiah Wise added two goals and one assist.
- Karley Trinidad had one goal.
- Joanna Melita had two assists while Abbie Carpenter had one assist.
