GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Emory & Henry College Women's Tennis Team (3-1, 2-1 ODAC) picked up its third victory in a row as it defeated Guilford College (2-2, 2-2 ODAC) by an 8-1 score Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened
- E&H opened up a 3-0 lead in the match through doubles. Junior Cailie Pollard (Rural Retreat, Va.) and sophomore Sarah Marion (Dobson, N.C.) picked up a shutout win, 8-0, at the third doubles flight.
- In singles action, sophomore Payton Holt (Mount Ulla, N.C.) earned a tiebreak victory - 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (2) - at No. 1 while freshman Molly McMichael (Riner, Va.) also won in a tiebreak - 6-3, 5-7, 1-0 (5).
- Marion, junior Logan Graham (Radford, Va.) and Pollard each grabbed 6-0, 6-0 wins at the No. 4 - No. 6 flights, respectively.
