HAMPDEN SYNDEY, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University Men's Soccer Team scored two goals in each half for a 4-0 victory over Emory & Henry College (0-4, 0-4 ODAC) Sunday afternoon in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference contest.

How It Happened
- VWU opened the scoring at the 23:13 mark of the contest as Kevin Prophet took a pass from Andrew Glass leading to the goal.
- The Marlins made it 2-0 with 1:29 to go before the intermission as Darwin Salguero scored an unassisted goal.
- In the 48th minute, Noah McBride pushed the lead to 3-0, assisted by Alex Moody. Moody earned his second assist of the game at the 62:34 mark as he found Scott Signorelli for a score and the 4-0 final margin.

Emory & Henry Individual Leaders
- Sophomore goalkeeper Spencer Scott (Stephens City, Va.) made six saves in the opening half while sophomore Derek Akers (Hiwassee, Va.) and freshman Axel Coronado (Chattanooga, Tenn.) combined for an additional six stops after the break.

- Emory & Henry remain on the road on Thursday when it visits Guilford College at 5:00 p.m. The contest, originally scheduled for Thursday, March 18 was moved back a week due to severe thunderstorms.
